Three-year-old Ferryn loves to play “interview”. Actually we all do because her thoughts are brilliantly unpredictable. She entertains us by playing both interviewer and interviewee – very well.
When talking with her a couple of days ago, it went like this:
What kind of animal would you like to be?
Because they are pretty
Are you happy to be a kid?
I’d rather be a flamingo
What is the hardest thing about being a kid?
You can’t shower.
What is happening with Auntie Cassidy?
She is going to have a baby.
Where is the baby now?
In her tummy
Where do babies come from?
When you grow up are you going to have a baby?
No, I’m going to go outside and play with Grandpa.
Who is your best friend in all the world?
What do you want for Christmas this year?
What are you going to give Kam (her little brother) for Christmas?
And then she traded hats, to become the interviewer and asked Uncle Dustin: “What is your favourite lipstick?”
